DROGHEDA, county Louth in Leinster, Ireland, is a port on the Boyne. It lies north of Wicklow. Erin, bidding the Daughters of Beulah lament, says, “Stand ye upon the Dargle from Wicklow to Drogheda” (J 49:5).
