British writer, poetess and translator. Was born in Israel in 1961 and came to England aged five. She grew up in north London, then read English at Homerton College, Cambridge. For the past twenty years she has taught English to adults and children. Ten of her stories have been broadcast on Radio 4 and her poetry has been included in anthologies. In 2006 her first novel 'Raffy's Shapes' was published by Accent Press.
